New Camera
So I've bought an addition to my gear, a Canon EOS 60d and two speedlights; a Canon 580ex II and a 430ex II, which was well overdue I might add.
I'm looking forward to shooting some videos with this bad boy ^.^

I will update this blog post with a video I took today where I did a review of the fastpack 350 by lowepro and a quick introduction to my camera gear, with a tiny review of the Canon 60D .
Stay Tuned :)
Test Shoot
I had a quick test shoot with Lone, testing the 580ex ii speedlight out in the night of Frederiksberg. Lone was so lovely and patient with me as I went through various settings. At this time I hadn't been able to bring my lightstands with me from the UK so I modified an old tripod I had lying around at my parent's to fit one flash. I decided to wait with using both flashes until I got my lightstands back from my sister's in B'ham.
Model: Lone J.
Location: Frederiksberg
Generally there was too much fiddling work that night but Lone has agreed to help me out again with another shoot :)
PhotoTipTricks & Light:
The key creative flexibility that you can work with during night photography is your surrounding - so make use of the available light from the street lamps and any other light. Bringing candle lantern could make for an interesting light as well. They can act as backlight or add to the photo's emotive atmosphere. The background will have a more interesting effect as it will be fused with various lights from buildings or cars rather than pitch black darkness.
You can also make use of your reflector in this situation by bouncing light from your speedlight or a flashlight - be creative, be openminded and be without limits. ^.^
I hope this helped! :)
